We're planning on moving to Portland this summer. Looks like it has a pretty decent music scene and the fishing looks incredible! I don't have a job yet though, so I'm a little nervous, but we're not staying here!

I have a very close friend that lives in Portland. He seams very happy there.
I need to take a trek out there to check it out my self.

I got a stellar job offer in Seattle this last week. It means a bit of travel, so I won't be home every night with the kids. That really sucks.
But...it pays a hell of a lot to do something I have always wanted to do and I would be home half of the week and weekends (most weekends anyway)!

I'm really hoping it pans out. If not, Portland is still looking pretty damn good!
