ANY SUGGESTIONS for miking left / right cabs?

Any suggestions out there for miking up the following cabs in stereo?

Quad pre / Strategy 500 into:

1/ Marshall JCM900 lead 1960B 4x12 - left
2/ Marshall JCM800 bass 1552 2x15 - right

is that for recording cleans and solos? what's your musical genre?

I am pretty much after something that can be used for universal tones and applications... from meditative cleans to twang to hard rock stoner shred and swirling psychedelia and fuzz... rhythym and lead... some good all rounder microphones.

After reading a bit here the SM57 and MD421 seem like good places to start...

To be a bit more specific... does anyone have any suggestions for miking a 15'' bass cab for guitar applications?
