A lefty Cali will be a tough find. Not impossible, but plenty tough for sure. You might try a "want to buy" post on the Hamer Fan Club. ( http://www.hamerfanclub.com/forums ). There's several lefties on there (I'm one, but I'm a lefty that plays righty  ).

No issues with USA Californians. One of, if not the best, shredders ever built. The most common one will be the Elite - mahogany body, bolt on maple neck, ebony fretboard with boomerang inlays. Some Elites have a flame maple body and go for significantly more. The Custom is an all-mahogany, set neck, with ebony and boomers.

Here's my old Elite I sold last year in a fit of stupidity.

Cali's are awesome! Hamer USA is awesome. I have six Hamers. Unfortunately, no Cali's. Someday I will get a Custom.

A guy on the HFC has one for sale. Excellent shape. First one to come up fpr sale in a long time. They don't come cheap, though.

Yeah, I think I know which one you're talking about and I just can't afford it right now. Thanks though.

Yup, that's me. Should've kept the same name for all these forums. Oh well. No one's ever accused me of being smart. :)

Congrats! Great guitar! Here's one of my Hamers. Looking forward to the pics!

Here're the pro pics of mine from the place I bought it from. It's no longer on the page if you navigate to it through the home page but for some reason I can still get there by googling for it.

very nice...do you like that knob configuration?

I actually don't like the knob configuration. I'd prefer it was reversed so that bridge volume was within pinky reach but I can certainly live with it giving the other attributes of the guitar. I could just swap them around but I can't bare to mess with such gorgeous wiring. I just read about Kaman being acquired by Fender and that just blows. I hope Jol stays on and isn't pushed out. However, those wanting Californians, Diablos, etc. could very well get their wish.

atta boy, eap!!!!nice!!!!you have a freakin' fleeeet!!!!string changin' must be a blast!!1glad to know I will be amongst friends....I have a feeling I will be selling my lefty Jackson PC-1...and soon....

I am trying to figure out the Hamer deal/sell/Kaman/fender.....what a corporate world it is...any thoughts on this matter would be mucho apprecianado-neeewbie in the Hamer world-opinions on Hmer USA value, anyone>????
