Hi all. Thanks for the advice and ideas so far on my tone quest. I am new to tube amps and this is the first Boogie I have ever owned. My question is, I am using the effects loops and I know I can control the master output from the front. Where do people usually have their individual channel levels at?

Thanks for your help.....

Steve.

Well, some people say to max them out, and then use the output, others say max the output level and control the volume with each individual channel. I just keep the ch1 around 3:00 and ch's 2 and 3 around 11:30-12 o'clock. Gives me what I need.

So, are you using effects in the loop? If not, I believe there's better tone to be had utilizing the hard bypass!
