why are you worrying about unleaded solder in the Mark V? Unless you mod it for an adjustable bias you shouldnt be gonig inside the amp chassis anyway, so you shouldnt get shocked. also if you put a bias control on there it may as well be external (like mounted on the back of the chassis, so again.. its convenient and safer)

I don't see why this is an issue, because if there is a connection to the chassis through one of these spikes and the chassis is earthed, then the voltage on the metal chassis would be zero.
I may be wrong with the above as in Australia the amp has an earth pin on the plug.
If you are still worried about it, I suggest you get an earth leakage device. I'm not sure what they are called over there but the device will trip if it senses any current going to earth and turn off the power.

It's not just the Mark V. I believe it is all of Mesa's amps from the last half of decade or greater.

I suggest you don't fly. Don't drive. Don't eat anything that isn't grown in nature.

Certainly don't stay up too late and ALWAYS wear protection...

Nothing for nothing, but you are really paranoid over trivial ****... Mesa is not the only electronic manufacturer that uses non-leaded solder in heat /high voltage construct.

Stop worrying so much about stuff that really doesn't matter and play your guitar...
