I sold my Mark III for a Tremoverb a while back. I'm going through some Mark III withdrawal right now. Do any of you know that feeling? I've felt it after every amp that I've gotten rid of. It's kind of like the feeling you get after breaking up with a girlfriend.
It seems like you can never be completely happy with a single amp. I think I'm going to buy a second amp to do "everything else". I definitely like the metal tone I'm getting out of the Tremoverb more than the one I got with the Mark III, but I really miss that whole raw vibe of the Mark III. Maybe it's the Marshally flavor I'm missing? I've been looking at Lone Star Specials and Vox AC30s. Which would be better at capturing that raw vibe I'm thinking of?
