Amp tech help needed!

amp is an all-tube Genz Benz Black Pearl 30. treble knob stopped working out of the blue. never got noisy or scratchy. no warning, just up and died. can any amp techs here tell me if there is anything that could have caused this other than the pot itself failing? oddly the amp still sounds great...maybe the treble knob died in the vicinity of the 12 o'clock position?

If the pot died. Then treble will have been set to max, automatically.
It could be a component on the treble circuit or the trace on the circuit board.
Lots of possibilities, no way to tell without getting in the amp. Get it to a tech
