Hello everyone
I am new to this forum. I've been playing guitar for 35 years and own numerous boogies, like Rectifier preamps and poweramps, a Roadking and some Mark Series amps.
I have a question regarding my Roadking II head:
When I use the Progressive Linkage function on the back of the amp to select the tube configuration, the Recto Tube Tracking/Silicon Diode and the Spongy/Bold switch, does the amp have to be in standby mode?
I haven't found anything about this in the manual.

Many thanks and best regards

I know this is almost a year old but I found an answer straight from Mesa so if anyone else has this question this is what they said. I asked about a Multi Watt Rectifier and they said you do not have to use standby or turn the amp off when switching modes between tube tracking/diode or bold/spongy. You just shouldn't be playing at the same time while doing it.
