Great stuff! I'm traditionally more of a metal/thrash kinda guy, but I always look forward to hearing your new stuff!

I definitely love the guitar sound. Was it recorded direct only or mixed with a mic'd track?

I've read a lot about your current recording setup and it is quite ingenious. The Palmer/Weber combo seems to be a very good solution for us people who have neighbors with an unnaturally keen sense of hearing. I should probably pick one up and spare my neighbors too..well maybe someday  .

thanks for checking it out.

this is all direct.

the weber/palmer thing, i'm getting dialed in.

Cool funky undertrappings on that underlying riff, especially sweet is that last few chord changes at the turnaround. I can't help but thinking that would be a great song live. The riff is just one that makes me feel like picking up my guitar and jamming along with it. I know nothing about the producing things others comment on, but the songwriting is good. You were able to make a song in an 'established genre' and have it still sound fresh.... Have you hard Day of Fire? Check them out, the power chord riff with added on passing notes in a classic rock style is still a happening thing man.... "Lately" is the name of the track. Another good riffy type tune.

You guys in the Atlanta area ever? My wife and I would def go see...

thanks man.
the IIb, is just so easy to work with.
between the amp itself, and a couple of choice pedals, i can dial in pretty much any kind of sound (short of metal) that i want.

Heritage Softail
funky, yes, after years of covering rock, r&b and funk tunes, it rubbed off a bit.
it IS fun to play, it's a really easy riff, there's just a couple of little twists that keep it left of center.
i haven't heard Day of Fire, i'll hunt that down, see what i can see....

not in atlanta, used to be, but i relocated out to UTAH back in 2000, i'm stuck here in the snow.
