interesting.

if i had the money, i'd probably buy it. i'd try to get in touch with someone at diezel to verify this claim, just for authenticity sake. me being a fairly big tool fan, it would be pretty badass to own adam jones' amp.

I saw this same amp for sale about two years ago, but the pictures are different and the knobs have been moved around compared to the pics I have in my computer. Very unique amp.

Who cares if the guy from Tool owned it?

It is a stock VH4....they are plentiful.

I think it's just cool to get his settings honestly. Plus it may have a few mods in there not common on stock models.

I had one for a few weeks...I thought it was a fart box.

I care! well not really but I agree with El Pelotero the settings are interesting to see if authentic. AJ, from interviews I've seen doesn't like talking to fans about his gear or settings. Seemed like he was above that. Him and Maynard both kind of come off standoffish in interviews. I'd be in no hurry to meet them or acknoledge them if I saw them in public. I always thought the cranked mids (on an amp tlike the 2ch DR that is more of a mid scooped amp by manual definition) was something he put out there to through off fans and tone hackers.

I'd want to see if there was any documentation that the amp belonged to AJ. That was the first Diezel I'd seen on the bay and the price didn't seem bad.

Are we part of the Borg collective?

Sorry couldn't resist! I thought we all pretty much made up our own mind about what we like and don't like individually.

A trick right out of the EVH playbook. The myths of Eddie's rig are out of this world, but it all really comes down to the magic hands that are on the guitar. :D

a head is a head no matter who owned it, unless he got it moded

and im stunned it only went for 2750 it just being a deizel head..... i personally think like that amp would be an awesome collectible for those tool/adam jones fans..... like for instance if i could buy an amp used on tour by someone like james hetfield or petrucci just to have as a collectible i think i would throw down the dime if i could afford it
