Hello everyone,

I am a senior in high school and I have to do a year long project know as the Senior Project. I is a career research project. I chose musician, since I am a guitar player. For the point in the project I am at I have to interview someone.
I am wondering if there are there are any active musicians on this forum that have sometime to answer some interview questions. You would only have to answer around five questions. I would also need you name of course t write on my paper.

If anyone can do it, let me know. I will give questions to whom ever replies.

thanks alot for taking time to read this,

Nick Landt

How "active" does the musician need to be? I've played guitar for almost 12 years, been in a band for a little over 5 years, recorded 2 full length cds, getting ready to record a demo with band I'm currently in, and have played over 100 live shows. If this qualifies, feel free to pm me the questions and I'll do my best to answer them as soon as I can (I'm in college lol). Anyways, have a good one man, and good luck with your project.

alright i changed the title. gigging kind of single other things out. really i need people who are musicians and who use those talents as a career. like they get paid for it often. like a studio musician perhaps.

basically some who plays guitar for their job.

My main passion and goal is for my band to give me a career and we are on our way with assloads of shows, two albums and small touring....

however, my actual job right now is creating music for media purposes. I am working on a soundtrack for a mutlimillion dollar movie right now and am in the process of getting a business together for such purposes. So i guess you could say i'm a session player. Not in a big touring band or anything(yet, haha) but this is how i survive and pay the bills. Good luck.

Thanks for the responses you guys, but I dont need an interview anymore.
I talked to Dave Weiner on AIM last night and he agreed to do it for.
This should be pretty cool.
