So it's 5 am now.....an I've been playing this amp for going on 18 hours straight.....I couldn't not get on here and praise this piece of machinery. I was hesitant to pick this thing up as I heard it was diffiicult to dial, it takes a bit of refining but it does things to develop your ear that no amp could dream of. If you are considering this amp it will change your life....that may sound like an exageration but I've spent countless dollars on different amps and new guitars hoping something would inspire me to put down my acoustic and start playing electric.....I literally can't stop. Everytime I think of laying down I end up finding some new gem in this amp. It was like jumping ahead 5 years in practice time. Every sound that you want your guitar to make, this amp just overflows beauty, power, aggression, clarity, tone. I'm done ranting but seriously, I write this because I spent years on this forum debating actually droppin that much on an amp. My only complaint is that I didn't sell something and buy one years ago. After the issues I had with it right away, I felt the need to write this review. Mesa customer service is superb and they have a product worth standing behind. Thank you Mesa.....keep up the spectacular work.

I've had mine since 2009, and I'm still discovering cool new sounds to this day. Try running EL34s in it some time, it's another source of inspiration.

I've had mine since 2012. I was initially not blown away with the V, until i took it to band practiced and whoa! It blew me away just how good it sounded. It does take a bit of time to refine your sound and it will still take you time as long as you own it that you will discover new sounds. It's endless! I've got NOS JAN 6l6 in there along with NOS preamp tubes and it sounds incredible!

I got mine around last November or December. I still haven't been able to discover even a fraction of the tones yet, just because the couple tones I have dialed in just sound too good. The band's on hiatus right now though, so this is a perfect time to start experimenting.

I love my MKV.

Got mine about a week ago. Yesterday it was the first time I could spend some time with it.
Difficult to dial it in? I found it difficult to dial it in if you are looking for a bad tone! In fact it was very easy and intuitive.
To be honest, I did not go crazy exploring the amp in deep, but with my "keep it simple" approach I was immediately able to use all the channels and then some.
I was smiling the entire session. :D
