I have had my Lonestar head for about 2 months and its been great, but I have really only played it on the 100 watt setting, with the tube rectifer switch on? My question is, does switching down to 50 watts or the tweed setting make any differance in tone? Does switching to Diode make a differance. I have done that and really didn't hear any differance in sound? I am happy with what I have it set on now, but maybe you guys could steer me in a better direction. Thanks :D

The only time I can hear a noticable difference with mine is when I am using a guitar with Hot pickups. The 50 watt setting,Tube Rectifier,Tweed power on either channel with High output pickups seems to Squash a little with natural compression, and has that edge of breakup sound on the clean channel. With higher gain stuff it can get a little muddy.
Hope this helps.
