About his lead sound...i don't knwo why, but i don't like it very much...mark iv is better...

They are not for everybody. I love my DC5, but have other amps when I'm in the mood for a different sound. Good luck finding yours

I am the proud owner of a studio caliber dc-2 for two weeks now. It is just the amp I need for the venues I do now. It performs better than expected. I leave my effects pedals at home. The clean channel sounds so good I hardly use any other setting. Some lead, hardly ever the contour mode.

I called Mesa last week and they have retained hardly any info on this amp. They couldn't tell me anything.
