here are a few clips I made for my guitar students. I thought it could be interesting to post them here.

They were all recorded with a SM58 in front of one of the two speakers of my DC10 (combo, so these are both Celestion Black Shadow 90W)

The only effects which were activated during the recording were a BB preamp (always on, even in clean mode) and a TC Electronic Nova Delay, set to digital mode and about 300ms repetitions.

The BB is set at 8 o'clock for the gain, 13 o'clock for the volume, and a little treble attenuation (11 o'clock), bass set at noon.

The amp settings were :

clean : gain (not pulled) 5 / Treble 7 / Mid 2.5 / Bass 5.5 / Presence 4
Lead : gain 4.5 / Treble 5.5 / Mid 3 / Bass 5 / Presence 0

G-Eq not activated, no noise gate (good cables + good powerplant for the pedals = no noise).

Guitar used is a stock 96' Fender Lonestar Stratocaster (USA one)

Played at bedroom level .

Enjoy !
