How would you compare the two, rating gain, smoothness, do you prefer 4 6L6's or 2 EL34 & 2 6L6 (simul of course)?
Just curious if anyone has one of each or has tried em at one point or another, I have a 60/100 watt and am trying to nail a good Metallica tone but am not 100% satisfied (yet!).
