The following is an issue I've had since I bought the amp, but never paid attention to until today. When I put the amp at 50 watts/4ohms, and engage the loop, the volume is really low even though I crank both knobs 100%. There is sound and tone, but it is talking volume output. I want to try running 50 watts because I may be able to get some earlier breakup while at my townhouse in college.

If I were to do this at 100watts/8ohms, as I have been playing for the past few months, I would break the windows if I even thought about cranking both volume knobs with the loop engaged. If I disengage the loop, the sound is deafeningly loud.

We all know that 50 watts should be putting out a lot more volume if I crank both knobs 100%. Any idea why this only happens at 50 watts and not 100watts?

thanks.
