I am currently waiting for a new 7 pin foot switch cable for my 3 channel dual rectifier. I can plug my 5 pin cable from my Express 5/50 into it and it will control the channel switching which is the most important thing to me right now. I haven't actually played the guitar through it yet...I'd rather be safe than sorry. All I've done is plug it into the foot switch and powered up the amp and was able to go through the channels. I'm assuming the other two pins will work the FX and Solo switches.
Will using this cable hurt the amp or foot switch or will it short circuit something over time?
Thanks

Won't hurt anything. You just loose a couple of functions.

Well. I tried it out. Everything seems to be working fine. I don't have anything going through the FX loop but the light comes on and off. Everything else is working. Now, there is a little pop switching between channels so maybe there could be something to that....?
