I'm no expert but it has "+" over the power cord, "MB" initials on the back and "Pull Deep" on the faceplate. Looks like a C+ to me. This one would be a catch. Sadly, it's way out of my league.

I'm sooooooo curious about testing the KRG against my simul C+.

Did anyone ever found it if it is possible to rewire the power transformer on the series 300 to 230V?

Quote from Mark IIC price list series 300 section;
Tapped Transformer wired for 100, 117 or 230 volts operation.

I thought it was illegal to sell porn on ebay

Ha ha... I work at eBay and a lot of people don't know that if you go to the "Everything Else" from the homepage category on the homepage and then to "Adult Only"... well, there it is. It's funny that no one talks about this category at work, but you would be surprised how much revenue this category brings in.

Hey Mark Fore, do you know a guy called Dilip at EBay San Jose? He's a manager but not sure which department. :) He used to be my next door neighbor at my old apartment complex. Are you guys hiring now?

It's a late one. Pull Deep face plate, ceramic PT sockets and a MK III pilot ( could be a replacement).

Why is their always some dickweed who has to explain what the amp is to the seller.
I hope they get their brownie points in hell. I hate that !!!!!! Now you have the schill bidders
and dreamers driving up the price when it really belongs in the hands of those that know what
to do with it, like certain Alabama folk.

Save for a bit of rust, it's in better condition than Ethel. The original tubes and hang tag make this puppy a sure winner! Whoever gets it will be lucky! Doesn't seem to be Simul-Class though.

I guess this posting puts me in the "Dickweed" catagory by attracting more Dickweed bidders.

No, it's the E-Bay brownies I dislike. We always check out IIC's on the Bay around here.

I have no right to tell you not to be self deprecating, so if you really want to feel
like a dickweed, I can't stop you. At least you do it with Zazz.

Although, seeing the Sun today after that monsoon that passed was very uplifting, so I will say
it was a wonderful day in the Old North State.

I will tell you a sad story about ALMOST getting a DRGX MkIIA>C+ conversion head (which I believe is the same one that you just went through for Frank) for $800 and a drive to Georgia. I had a backdoor deal all set up, but could not make the drive for a couple of days. The amp was originally listed as a MESA/Boogie MkII, with one very grainy shot of the front and a question about the serial number that put it into the IIA timeframe. When I saw that the Bass pot had a "pull option", I started to salivate. Then a so-called "dickweed" spilled the beans to the seller before I could scoop it up. All in all, I'm glad someone from this board ended up with the amp, but I still have a bit of angst with the dickweed type myself.

Considering the tone of that amp, I would be miffed. It's killer.

If it had been in North Georgia rather than nearly to the Florida state line......... :x :x :x

I would not have cared what numbers were stamped on the OT, either.
