2X12 Recto Wedge anyone here compare these to a normal Recto

I saw one of these on Ebay and I thought I may like something like this to use with my Axe FX ,
but I have no idea if trimming down a side kills the "charm" that the recto 2 X12 cabs have that I love.
anyone here have one? any ways to get one of these anywhere if I decide to pursue this line of thought?

Although very useful in many situations, its not going to give the low end response associated with a typical 2x12 Recto cabinet. Thanks!
