20/20 power and standby switches

Hi there,this is my first post on here,so here goes....
I've just picked up a 20/20 Dyna watt amp to use with my studio pre and I'm a bit unsure
about the positions of the power and standby switches........is the switch in standby when
its pointing down......and the power on with the power switch also pointing down........
I can't try the amp yet as I need to get a step down transformer[USA voltage]

Hope to have this up and running this weekend so any help will be very much appreciated.
I'll probably have a load more dumb questions for ya'all soon too.... :lol:

Providing it is mounted or resting with the logo reading right-side-up, up is on for power and standby is off in the up position. In other words: up - up lets it make noise.
