2 Things my Mark IV Needs

A new grill cloth and one EQ slider tip. Anyone know where I can get one of each? It would be cool to get a tan grill cloth but I'd really be happy with anything clean at this point.

The grillecloth in which you seek can be found here:

Here you will find the black, gold and the tan colored jute cloth like that used on the Boogies.
As mentioned in a previous post, the EQ knob will have to come from the factory. They no longer sell any of the grillecloth and piping and coverings from the factory, and will send you to another source such as the one pasted above.

WHOA!! Sorry guys! I copied that from a bookmark that I'd had saved for quite a while, and apparently he's closed up shop. Too bad to, that's the only place that I've found that has the jute style grillecloth. The folks at Boogie pointed me towards a site called Mojotone.com to get it, but they don't have jute cloth. That's been a couple of years back though. A person might get in touch with them again and find a better source now. I'm sure it would be worth a phone call.

If anyone learns of anything, post up- I'd like to get ahold of some gold jute to redo my MK IV with.

hate to be the one to revive old threads, but i guess this one isn't too old....

did anyone ever find another source for the gold jute grill cloth? I need a gold jute grill for my recto 4x12... called mesa... theye don't sell just grillcloth. have to buy the whole baffle assembly... needless to say, it's not exactly cheap.

any help is appreciated

there is one at http://www.mojotone.com that is very close to the mesa gold/cane colored "jute"

I have a sample of it here and compared it to the mesa black jute and to me it's pretty much dead on. The "thread" might be a touch smaller in diameter but the pattern matches up.

Thanks. Yeah I've seen that grill cloth. Mesa's gold jute has black woven into it. They're too different. I might just have to re-do it all... Or pony up the cash for the whole baffle assembly from Mesa
