Just a few questions...

A)Where do i set the loop select?

B)Am i right in thinking the effect send/mix levels are insignificant when using the loop in this way?

C)Do i simply crank the Loop Active Master to 10 then adjust the channel's volume accordingly?

Thanks,

Chris.

The best that I can remember, set the switch to "Loop On". The effects send and return levels are still acive. Then use the Loop active master knob in conjunction with the channel masters to get your favorite sound. I was always partial to the "Red to Vintage" channel cloning where both presence controls are active with tube rectifiers and the spongy setting.

Thanks for the reply :)

So with the loop 'ON' do the mix/send levels bear any influence on the tone of the amp even without any pedals plugged into the loop and the loop simply being used as a master volume?

thanks

yes they do. You engage a whole other pre-amp tube. If you crank that back knob, you get a lot more gain.

For the purpose of just getting a master volume, I would'nt sacrifice the tone, as it will be affected with the loop engaged! If in fact, you are to run effects, then by all means use the loop!
