2:90 problem!

Hi there!!

Hey boys... I think my 2:90 died today.

The poweramp turns on, but none of the tubes are lit, and consequently, there is no sound... any ideas of what is happening??

I was setting up my Rig to play at Firewater in Dallas, TX the other night and MINE DID THE SAME THING!!

Got power.

No Tube Light.

No Output.


My 2:90 is the older style with the attached chord pre 1998?

Had one in the shop the other day with the exact problem. The circuit that powers the heaters burnt up. The connector on the boards get dirty and arc. You need to bypass the connector.

I just looked at the links.. That's exactly what happened. Sure doesn't cost $200 to fix that... Just some skill!

(if you are close to Vermont, I'd be glad to fix it)
