While I'm waiting for the first in line to contact me again, I will say this: I would REALLY prefer not to ship this sucker (but I will).

That includes getting someone you know in town to pick it up and ship it to you, just as long as I don't have to do it! You'll still pay the same shipping for them, or you might figure some way to have that friend transport it. That would be great. This would qualify you for the local pricing, above, with possibly another little bonus on top.
