Anyone ever try a lower gain tube in the FX Loop for the Tremoverb?
I've been having serious issues with the input of my G-Major clipping. I have to have the clean channel Master and the input of the G-Major so low that the tone really turns to ****!

It shouldn't make any difference - the driver half is a cathode follower, which has a gain of unity (or just under, really) regardless of the tube gain. All that will happen is that the return signal will be amplified less.

I did have this issue with a friend's Rectoverb (overdriving a Boss pedal in the loop, rather than a G-Major), and eventually solved it by adding series resistors onto the channel master pots to halve the effective setting of the controls at any given knob position. Not ideal, but it did fix it. I'm still surprised you're getting it with the more sophisticated Tremoverb loop though...

I might look into that.
It's really frustrating the hell out of me. I can't find anybody who has a Tremoverb that uses a G-Major 2.

I might just get mad and rebuild the whole thing. The ROV's loop is almost identical to the TOV's, with the exception of a Send knob, and a .22 cap instead of a .68.
My ROV drawings don't show the voltages though. I'm wondering about simply knocking the voltages down a bit.

I love the tones of the amp when the Loop is bypassed, but hate them with it in. I'll look further into it this week when I have some time. Maybe There is an issue with it. It works just fine, but sounds like farts.
