Great thread, hopefully this thing grows. I'm picking up my first Boogie, a DC-5 tomorrow - I'll have it plugged in and rocking in less than 15 hours. I'm stoked!

Are there any real differences in the sound between the two amps, or is it more of a features difference.?

I'm still deciding on a couple of amps, one of which is the DC-5. I'm seeing several for sale, some with Mesa Tubes, some with JJ's. Does using the JJ's mess with the bias. so if you went back and fort between the two - does it have to be biased?

Thanks for the feedback guys- I know 22 Watts will be pleanty - actually I was worried a bit that 50 may be overkill. What about the subway rocket vs the studio 22? Are they tonally the same just with different options?
