Can you inter-change the chassis' of a Mark IVa head and a Mark IVb combo? I would think yes provided they are both "short" or both "wide", right? Or is there something else that I am missing due to one being an "a" model and the other a "b"?

Kind of a double question here, would a) a Mark III (not sure if the stripe will matter, but it's a red stripe amp) pass the C+ loop test, or "should" it pass the C+ loop test. And b) would a Mark III that has the C+ mod, so a III+, would or should that amp pass the C+ loop test? Reason I ask...
