    DC-5 1x12 Combo for sale, $550

I know that I've only been a member here for about one week now, but I need some help from fellow forum members... Yesterday, some expensive personal items (iPods, hard-drives) were stolen from my shop while I was helping a friend elsewhere in my shop right before leaving for home. There is a...

Express 5:50 or DC-5??? Going to have to A/B 'em!

Ok everyone; I arrived home this evening with my new Express 5:50 in tote only to find the DC-5 at my doorstep!!! So, I was happy to plug the pair in and dial in some tones over a few hours and give them a good A/B'ing. So, here's my review as promised... I'll post audio/video samples when...

Gibson, Fender, Egnater, Trace Elliot: all for sale...

I need to sell some gear quick before I move, so any help would be appreciated! I can ship the guitars without a problem. The Egnater & the Trace Elliot can be shipped, but it may be easier for a local pickup in the NJ/PA/DE region... Gibson RD Silverburst (reissue) w/ EMGs (81/85): $900...

Express 5:50 or DC-5??? Going to have to A/B 'em!

Ok, ok... I'm new to Mesa's but I'm kinda silly about these things... as I wait for the DC-5 to be delivered in the coming week or so, I'm going to pick-up an Express 5:50 1x12 from the local GC. Once I have both in my home setting, I'll compare the two and weigh in on the ups/downs that I find...

    DC-5 questions: weight, knobs, etc...

The weight of the Mesa Express 5:50 1x12 wasn't too bad. I think if my options with the DC-5 fall to the wayside I'll go with a new one from the local shop. At least with the 5:50 I was able to play-test for a good hour with my guitars...

Newbie nedding info on Mesa Express

I jammed on an Express 5:50 today for about an hour at the store that I work at. I used a guitar that I built and man did that amp/guitar combination sound amazing! I'm anticipating my DC-5's arrival, but in the event that it doesn't work out to my liking, the Express 1x12 is my amp of choice!

    Any Luthiers / Guitar Geeks?

I work on guitars for a living (an actual luthier building and repairing), and my advice for a "quiet, but not dead silent" volume knob would be as follows... Open up the control cavity and look at the potentiometer that the pickup is running into. This pot should have 3 lugs with connections...

The actual potentiometer (not the plastic knob) for the output level.

    DC-5 questions: weight, knobs, etc...

Yeah, I just won a DC-5 on eBay that has a messed up master volume knob too. The seller was able to tell me that the amp weighs about 65 lbs as well as the general dimensions. Right now, I own an Egnater Tourmaster 4212 (it's the 2x12 combo version of their newest amp). This thing weighs a ton...

    DC-5 questions: weight, knobs, etc...

Hello everyone! I'm brand-spankin' new to this forum so forgive my newbie-ness. I was curious as to the actual physical weight of a later-model DC-5 1x12 combo. I'm moving to a 3rd floor apartment and I was curious as to how much easier it would be to lug in comparison to my current 100+lb combo...
