    Knoxville,Tn

I just traded my LSS. It had a great clamshell bag ( Studio Slips) w/it. Well the amp has been sold but they didn't want the bag. Anybody in the area that wants a bag, it's at Broadway Sound. They have $150 on it , but might take $100. I think I paid $175? You know what it's like...I got...

Advice on amp stand for my Lonestar Combo!

I use the RS 7000 a lot. I like the tilt back, I can hear it better. I pretty much use my amp as a monitor and mic it and run it thru a bose. I will never play without a stand again. I don't have the LSS anymore though, I traded it for a Rivera Venus 3. I use a Rivera Venus 6 on stage w/the 17...

    Lonestar Special Reliability

I've gigged with an LSS for over a year now and haven't had a problem yet. I even went out and bought a back up ( Rivera Venus 6) just in case. Now I use both amps at the same time. Still..no problems.....

    Fender Tilt Back Legs

I've got two On Stage Stands at GC. It'll hold easy 2 70 lb amps stacked ( according to a metal fabricator I know). I'm really satisfied. I really like them up off the floor and the space under neath is usuable. I really like mine...

    Fender Tilt Back Legs

One thing I loved about Fenders was the tilt back. I also like the speaker facing me. I was thinking of doing that ...then ended up buying an amp stand that tilts back approx 24" off the floor. One advantage is I can store my Furman Power Factor Pro under it....

Disaster! Rivera chassis stuck half-way in headshell!

    Riveras are pretty tough!! CGM

    Rivera Venus 6

I have a Rivera Venus 6 and a LSS. I use both together at the same time. I did the "Reeder Mod" on the LSS. I use the V6 a lot. I use the F/X through it. It has an amazing clean sound, also an amazing dirty sound. Usually I run one clean and one dirty ( The V6 dirtier ) then I'll switch Ch...

Do you guys elevate your amp?

I use an amp stand. It's banked, top about waist high or so, sounds better, makes sense to me....

    Small amp recommendation

I like my Rivera Clubster DOCE 25 watt. It's got 2 6V6's and works fine for me in those situations you describe. 1x12. 2 Ch, F/X loop. pricey at $999, but I think it's worth it.

    A/B/Y switch in pedal chain?

Telemaster....I played thru a leslie for years and was thinking on the unit you are looking at. I use a simulator now which works pretty good , but there's nothing like moving the air with a spinning speaker. As to the A/B box..I still use one as I use two amps. I have a Rapco that I've used...

    LSC or LSS: Opinions Welcome

I like the LSS. I too had to make the decision of the two. Having played through a Fender "Twin" for years , I knew the LSC would probably be very loud. I was tired of having to keep the volume way down on the amp. I felt like saturating the tubes might help.I didn't feel like I got that w/ the...

Is Lonestar good for music like STP, Jimmy Eat World, etc

I have the LSS. I like the cleans on it better or as much as a "Twin". I'm an old Twin man myself. Fenders aren't what they use to be, I taught in a music store for years, trust me , they changed. I love the LSS. The classic would probably do just as well. You'll get plenty of response on those...

MY LSS is 1 yr old.....

....and not one problem! I'm giving up waiting. Played a gig last night ( 1st gig w/Reeder Mod). It did and sounded great. It is my #1 and will remain such. I'm posting this for all those that worry. Also for all those that mentioned we only heard about the problem amps ( which we do ) . This is...

    Vertical amp stands

Thanks man, good idea , w/the floor tilt back I could still get better dispersion than sitting level , I might give that a shot.....CGM

    Vertical amp stands

Hey guys, I'm playing on a limited spaced stage Sat. night and don't have room to run my usual set up ( 2 amps- side x side). I know, I know...just use one , but well you know ...it just wouldn't be me. I run a LSS for leads & cleans and a Rivera Venus 6 for the F/X loop. Also ..if I'm not...

    LSS plus Tele equals... dang!!

I've had a LSS for almost a year now. I tested it out w/a G&L ASAT and knew the LSS was made for that guitar. I did the Reeder Mod on mine and it really made the 2nd ch more usuable for the Tele. I'm a Tele man. I play the blues.......

LSC/LSS owners; are you happy with channel2?Want to fix it?

O.K......you can add another name to the "Reeder Mod" list....I did it last week and just can't get enough of Ch 2. I just love to switch back & forth between 1&2. It does every thing reported earlier. It's airy , transparent, smooth , chimey, opened up, etc. Just like #1 but with however much...

    Did the Reeder Mod

Well..I finally got around to doing it, or having a qualified buddy do the job while I watched. I'm impressed. It does open up the 2nd channel. I like the distortion much, much better now. It doesn't seem as tight or compressed, or over done. It feels natural and ballanced w/the 1st ch. I'm...
