Most OD pedals are ment to run at the proper voltage. I've tried the Sag control with some MIJ Boss SD-1's and OD-1's and it just did'nt work as good. Very nice guy!!! I too came across my first pre 500 Dual Recto (#220) with out realizing what I had. Traded a JCM 900 head, a pre amp and $300. for it. I still have it and enjoy it much!

I wouldn't pay $1800. for DR #836!! No matter what shape it's in! That price would be about my max on a pre 500, and that's only because of all the hype behind them and that's about as cheap as you might be able to find one for.
