Thanks. The factory is about a three hour drive, so I might go next Tuesday. I wonder if they would modify it with an IEC out(removable power cord)as replacing the cord with a quality version can change the sound(I'm an Audiophile)? Howard.

I've read $350 and $3000. My "C" is supposedly the first made with SN 11192. I bought it new and fully-loaded as a 20 year old in '83.

$1600 was the price of my then new Simul-Class MK 2 in '93.

I purchased on 1 Oct '83 in Las Vegas. It's the first one made and the SN is 111295 with a wicker grill and I guess an Imbouye cab. It has the original tubes and the EQ slider's are tight as when new. You can contact me at [email protected] for pics.

I forgot to mention that it still has all the original tubes and EV speaker but I lost the footswitch which was junk anyway.
