    Lonestar or Super Reverb?

thanks for the help guys...i wish i knew more about this stuff, but, being primarily a rock player, i focused more on amps that had great distortion...never really messed around with fenders or got acquainted with what a good clean amp sounds like, so i've spent some time with voxes, champs, and...

    Lonestar or Super Reverb?

Cool, thanks for the info. I was curious because I really liked the "bright" switch on the SRRI, and from what I can tell the LSC is more or less considered a "dark" sounding amp.

    Lonestar or Super Reverb?

Hey, just wondering what you guys thought.... I was in GC the other day and played a Fender Super Reverb Reissue and was totally blown away by the sound...just gorgeous, for some reason I liked it more than the other Fenders I've played. It was a 4x10 combo. I've been looking into getting a...

    Lonestar Format Opinions?

just wondering what the tonal differences between a 1x12 and 4x10 LSC combo might be. does it depend on how you're gonna use it...or is it more of a preference thing...and if so, might someone describe what the sound difference is? Thanks guys!

    Lonestar updates

yep, the price of a used LSC is a lot less than a new one, of course...and all the used ones for sale seem to be the older version...so i guess it's a matter of deciding how much i think that 10 watt setting is worth...

    Lonestar updates

yeah, that's kind of what i am wondering...i'm sure that the 10 watt option would be cool, noise isn't a huge issue where i live but...but there's a big price difference between a new 07 and a used 06.

    Lonestar updates

Hi all, just wanted to float this question for some who might have had experience with LoneStars........ I see that the amp has been updated for 07 with a 10 watt setting... First of all i wanted to see if you knew if there were any more updates to the design, as was done to the stilettos last...

    Tremoverb Channel Cloning Question

Hi all, just wondering if you could help me out... I'm super confused about the Tremoverb channel cloning and how it works. Maybe i'm just stupid, but... If you clone RED to VINTAGE, does that mean that flipping the switch to blues on the red channel will make it sound like the orange clean...

    Rectoverb Lindsay Buckingham Sound?

Hey guys, I was wondering if i could get some help...I'm in an awkward situation! I'm trying to sell a Rectoverb Combo, and a guy told me he just got a Rick Turner guitar. He was wondering if he could get a Lindsay Buckingham sound out of the amp. I'll admit I'm not familiar with his music at...

    WTB: Mesa Stiletto Ace

I'm looking to pick up a Mesa Boogie Stiletto Ace combo, preferably the 2x12. If you're interested, I have a red, early 90's, clean Hamer Special with p90's and a Roland BluesCube 60-watt combo that I can use as trade bait. Let me know.

    stiletto question?

cool, then i guess the ace is a better choice...no arenas for me in the near future. btw, if you'd like to sell me one...let me know.

    stiletto question?

hi, was wondering if someone could give me a little advice. I've been looking to get a stiletto for a while now to compliment my ROV. Something to use for practice and small to medium gigs. I was considering one of the ACE combos and was wondering what the difference was, tonally or otherwise...

    Tremoverb vs. Rectoverb

Hi guys, I'm a new member of the board, and just had a quick question, see if i could get some advice... I currently own a rectoverb series II combo, and I dig it for sure - i use it for lots of different stuff, but typically mid-gain classic rock and blues type of music. In other words, I...
