Hey all, Ive been toying with getting an attenuator for my ED 112 combo... either an Ultimate Attenuator or an Alex Attenuator. Both have gotten great reviews and insist they dont suck any tone while attenuating. But they are pricey, so before plunking down dough I wanted to get some thoughts...

My Klon works GREAT in front of it! I set it to really push the front end tubes, and also (mainly) to add that extra mid-presense that it is famous for. It makes the amp come alive.

Well im glad to see this thread-- I got my ED two weeks ago and love it thus far. Was coming here to ask folks what they think about the 6L6 stock tubes vs EL34's... Any other feedback?

hi all, My LSS is functioning fine in 30 watt mode, but 15/5 modes have NO sound- in either channel. Any ideas what might be the problem? Thanks!

looks like this only happens in the "bright" reverb setting. as soon as i switch to it, the volume cuts out and the only way to get it back it do shut the amp off/on again. then the sound comes in and out, and still isnt consistent. Sucks! GC here only has a floor model other than this one...

hi all, what has changed in the lss since 2005? There is an 05 out on ebay, the seller says it is the 5/15/30 version, but i thought that was introduced after 05. what has mesa changed in the amp between 2005 and 2009 models? Thanks!
