I have a problem with the fx loop of my mark IV..when engaged there is a volume drop,like the signal sent in the loop was weak,very weak...what can this be? help please...

is it safe to run the Mark IV with 2 Mesa tubes in the outer sockets and 2 JJ in the inner sockets? A tech today has told me that it's not safe and the 4 tubes must be all the same... thanks

what is 2c+ petrucci mod for? another volume control?

the rotary works well,the amp works well without footswitch(with the rotary in every position but footswitch position). the footswitch does not light up for the channel selection(rh1 rh2 lead lead/eq)but works only for the last 2 switches(eq and loop).

my footswitch is not working.when i select "footswitch" on the knob the mark remains in "no mode"(no one channel is selected). what could be it?

ok,but in power amps mesa suggest to put the unused channel with presence max and volume zero when playing,with amp ON..is it truly safe? is it dangerous only with volume high and with an input connected?

is it safe to pull out the 2 inner tubes and run mark4 in classA?

this is what i'm interested to.. i want to change tubes in my cornford without rebiasing it cause i don't know any tech in my town that is able to do it.. i want to do in my cornford what i usually do on my mesa(that sounds great!).

i know that mesa's are fixed bias,but even cornford and marshall are fixed bias,but instead a resistor(in mesa's) they have an adjustable bias pot. now if i put a pair of matched and "in specs" tubes in my cornford without rebias i'll have the same results as putting a pair of tubes in my mesa...

now if I put 2 6l6 mesa tubes in the cornford(with bias at 35 ma) without rebiasing it,these 2 mesa tubes will work "hot","too hot",or cold or etc...???

maybe on the cornford forum where I red how to bias the amp there's a mistake,I think that with Mv they intended ma...

I know that mesa's run at cold bias. Do you know the bias value in Mv ? for instance I have a Cornford mk 50 with adjustable bias and the manufacturer says that when biasing the amp "the reading should be 35Mv on both valve bases". Is this value(35 Mv) cold or hot? And what is the Mesa's value...

yes,but I want or the fulldrive2 mosfet or the OCD. is there somebody who is experienced with one of these?

i want to try a booster for the r2 of my markIV. what do you guys suggest? i was thinking fulltone fulldrive2 mosfet(mostly for its versatility) or OCD.
