Best Pick-ups for a Boogie amp?

i run the DiMarzio ToneZone, and it sounds really sharp - they're a very clear, high output and sound very raw to me. i really like them...give nice feedback when you want it... ran a jeff beck through mine and it sounded quite nice too - a much darker, warmer sound.

Stiletto or Dual Recto... that's the question

to resurrect an older thread - i've not found anything i really don't like with my stiletto deuce...most of my problems have just been tonal and figuring out what sounds good to me and what doesn't. it's a sweet friggin amp, dude. just...sweet.

    Stilettos:ace or deuce ??

the stiletto does for sure have the 50/100W switch. I play fairly small venues and still use the 100W output, just at a lower volume b/c it cuts through much better.

    Help me choose an amp..!!

First reply to a thread - howdy! I just recently did the very same thing you were doing - went from solid state to tube. I went for it - Stiletto Deuce. I love it...versatile (and I've only just begun) and it gives you that wet sound as well as the nice chug... that's my vote! :)
