Why are you comparing the channels in the first place ? I have a question for you, can you make them sound good regardless of where the knobs are at and do they sound simular?

They are two different amps they arnt comparable by settings. Set them up by how they sound not where the knobs are.

Its because it basically is a Mk IIc+.. infact its two of them in one box with midi and a cab clone .. I think the price is perfectly reasonable for what it is.

Why are you going to all that effort by doing that ? By the time you get one in the country pay the import tax and change the transformer you'll probably be spending 20% more than just buying a new one there.

Thanks for the reply Jimi D. Yes dime used a solid state randall that was boosted with a mxr 6 band eq (infront of the amp), then it was eq'ed again with a parametric EQ in the loop. It's a bit of a pain that set up but I just want to expand my tones and have the gain there if I fancy playing...
