Couldnt you just vary the amount of gain with the volume knob on your guitar?

Since this is "the boogie board" i figure you're gonna get a lot of similar answers to mine. Keep the lonestar, especially one that's dressed as nicely as yours (i have one similar, bubinga/wicker) heh heh

If you couldn't/can't get hard rock tones out of the LSC without pedals, you didn't have the amp dialed in correctly. Or there was something wrong with the LSC you used. Or there is something wrong with my LSC, because with my LSC i can approach 80's metal tones. Only thing that's lacking...

If that 2 x 12 lone star is hard wood, i dunno that i would feel comfortable with a stand rated at 75lbs. I have a bubinga 2 x12 LSC and it weigh's roughly 94 lbs. Not sure how much less a non hard wood 2x12 weighs. But ya might wanna check before buying that stand.
