switching voicing on Mesa Simul-Class 2:90

Thanks for your help! Ok, I used a channel switch box from one of my other amps and it seems to work fine to change (engage) the voicing. Does the switch box have to stay connected once engaged...it seems if I disconnect in from the input (for deep for example) it toggles that voicing back off...

    16 ohm cab with Simul-Class 2:90

UPDATE: Ok, so now I am using (2) 2x12's both are 16ohm cabs and running A & B in stereo and connected to the 8 ohm output. It seems to work great but is there any reason to be cautious or is this fine? Thanks, Derek

electrical smell coming from Mesa Simul-Class 2:90

I think you are exactly right! I have attached a pic that shows the slightly burned part of the plastic clip. It is still entirely intact and the amp runs fine. Is this the type of thing that will just continue to worsen and should be fixed right away? Thanks, D.

electrical smell coming from Mesa Simul-Class 2:90

I just noticed in the past week there I have been getting a fairly strong electrical smell coming from my Simul-Class 2:90. It is housed in a 2 rack space container. I can hear the fan still running. Has anyone had this happen or have suggestions of what should be done? Many thanks :) D.

switching voicing on Mesa Simul-Class 2:90

Hi, I am not using a TriAxis with my 2:90. When the manual says that you can use a "standard tip to ground switch" to change the voicing does that mean a standard channel switch box that you would use to change channels on your amp? ....sorry for the stupid question, just want to make sure...

    16 ohm cab with Simul-Class 2:90

Hi, I just picked up a used Stereo Simul-Class 2:90 and am wanting to output to a 16ohm 2x12 cab that I have. I am only imputing to channel "A" from my preamp and am wondering if connecting to the "A" output on the 8ohm is ok? Thanks, Derek
