Farewell, 4x12. Farewell, dreams of youth...

I lost my daugter this year after she was born prematurely. She stuggled to survive for 55 days in the NICU fighting chylothorax caused by a random genetic condtion (that neither myself or my wife carry). I have reassed what is important to me. A heap of gear that is not used to its potential...

Farewell, 4x12. Farewell, dreams of youth...

It's hard to justify such a huge rig if you never play out or only play at home occasionally. Hopefully, it got onto a big stage and spread some sonic joy in the last few years.

Mark III Red Channels not working.

Could be preamp tubes. I would suspect some of those in the first instance. From the Mark III manual (http://www.black-records.de/download/markIII.pdf): "Now let's look at the other sockets so you can make an educated guess at which one to change first: V1, as we said, is usually the culprit...

Question about older 3 channel schematics

Only the authorised Mesa techs have access to all the paperwork and I believe they legally can't share them so getting those sorts of things are hard. You might have to go down the data recovery route instead if the hard drives aren't damaged.

Question about older 3 channel schematics

Backing up data to multiple sources is always a lesson hard learned. I lost guitar wiring diargams and sheet music I could never locate again. This is from the Tube Store via Wayback Machine. It's not available on the current version of the website. Not sure what you want is there though...

Mesa Single Recto VS. V-Twin Comparison

There's a big difference this time. One has highs and clarity while the other is quite muffled.

Where are all the Princeton Boost amps?

HEAD 2 HEAD Single Recto vs. Dual Recto Roadster Comparison!

This is odd as the original message was this and then it was edited into that bitter and twisted crap: BTW thanks for taking the time to make the videos. Most people don't know how much time there is involved in the process of doing this.

What Mesa has the best cleans?

The F series and the Mark IIB are known to have good cleans. For myself if I really want cleans I prefer a Fender Twin.
