    TriAxis TX3A Board

So I can't find anything about the TX3 board. I have the 109th Triaxis made. The board reads "Mesa TX3A" ...it has an amazing sound ...Lead 2 Green is heinous and Lead 2 Yellow is Mark IV crunch like mad. Lead 2 Red is just sick, sick sick, it has the biggest low-end of any preamp I've ever...

Mark IIc+ with no EQ question

If the amp you have is MKIIC+ , I would call Mesa and ask them if they can add an EQ (or an authorized Boogie tech). The tone would be amazing. If they can add an EQ it would be an investment in the amp. The name, MKIIC+ isn't what makes it valuable. It's the tone. A rack mount unit would be...

List of tubes tried with the Mark V?

Well I'll throw two-cents at this. I hace a MKIII Red-Stripe 60 watt Non-SimulClass and I've managed to get the most heinous tone out of it after trying various pickup and tube configs. The Mesa 6L6 STR440's vary a lot by color code. The amp came with Reds. I tried the Greys and they had a...

What is the best complement to my Triaxis

When you ask what the best compliment to your Triaxis is, I assume you mean a power amp. The new 2:Fifty is a turd...avoid it. The old 50/50 Stereo has the most bottom end of any power amp I've ever heard. The top-end is real fat. They have great old school tone. The 20/20 will get you GNR, The...

    Mark 3 serial numbers

..Well, I just bought a Mark III Red-Stripe combo, 60 watt non-Simul-Class with EQ. It absolutely grinds and screams on command. It comes in just under 20300. So I'm clueless about this subject but I am eager to learn. Any input fellas ?

    TriAxis MIDI difficulties

I just bought a 92 Triaxis. I have an ADA MC-1 MIDI controller that I know works fine. It has a 7-pin connector. The ADA MP1 and TriAxis both use 7-pin MIDI inputs. The TriAxis is not responding to the MC-1. I've looked in the PDF manual and there is no help there. Any ideas ? Did I buy a Lemon...
