What speakers would you get?
Woot ... I grabbed a Marshall 4x12 cab in like 1988....used of course... I tried it out at Thoroughbred's in Tampa, Florida, now a Sam Ash..... I asked for a screw gun to look at the speakers, but waited for the guy to leave the demo area they had.. 4x G-12M 25w....I SO screwed that back... -

Floyd Rose upgrades
Some pickups are definitely better for mids.....some not so good...... PAF Pro, Fred, I think the Joe... just a few examples of fattened mids pickups... Maybe some research?? -

What speakers would you get?
Any Celestion G12-M fans? I'm definitely one.... A 100w cabinet breaks up at much lower volumes......just my .02 Great for hard rock...... -

Boss gt 8 10 ?
Not too old to necro... :) I bought into the Boss GT line with the GT-6, still have it, still use it as my primary jam and live effects, as well as my pre. Though the GT-6 is old, I find it amazing, and still tweak out new channels that blow me away, and I've had it since they came out. Next... -

Foam/filling inside of cabs??
Has anyone else done this, and what result did you get? I too have heard of people doing this, but I haven't gotten any substantial opinion... and am to lazy to open my cab unless there is gain :) -

9 little known tone facts
Doesn't the fuzzy tolex on say Tube Works and other 90's era amps mean you get better fuzz sound from the amp? -

Just wondering how many Tube Works / Mosvalve fans there are that are active here...? I saw several threads that were older, and I didn't want to necro them :) I'm using the MV-962 into a Marshall Basketweave 4x12 with G12-M greenies, with simply a Boss GT-6 for my pre.... I'm using the Mesa...
