So, one of my 8 pin DIN cables just died. Running an ohm meter to test, I found one of the pins lacks continuity. No nicks or cuts in the cable, both are Mesa bought. Ever seen a cable fail like this?

Just put in a new set of Mesa 6L6s!! I was running the original stock 6L6s since March 2010 (minus 6 to 8 months when I went with =C= EL34s). I drove 'em pretty hard too! Next time, I gotta remind myself to re-tube more often 'cause now it sounds so much better! That's all... :lol:

Hey all, How long does your Mark V take to warm up? For gigs and rehearsal, I plug my amp in first thing, turn it on, and leave it in standby while I set up the rest of my gear. This takes me roughly 10 mins max often times less. We're normally, up and playing in 15-20 mins at the most...

Like to tweak... I was never a set-it-and-forget-it type of player. Each venue, each rehearsal room, each time playing is always different. There's always the room, the people, different guitars, even our own band members that bring in different gear that will alter the sound completely...

Is it me or does the jump in volume when using the solo feature seem to shrink as the master volume continues to grow? This happened last night and my numbers may be off but my output was around 2:30 and solo near 4:30. When hitting the solo button, I could barely hear the difference. But...
