I find that for studio/recording, I can find awesome tones for any requirement, but in particular the clean mode is the S***. Simply brilliant. I've use both Lo/Hi modes for recording as well, when I have the time to EQ it to taste, and depending on which axe I'm using. Now for live performance...

Thanks for the info. I may see about getting one. I'm very carefully when I tuck the power cord back there, and I don't store the footswitch in the amp. But moving from studio to gig, with rushed set-ups and tear downs...you never can be too cautious:-)

The left button switches between clean and whatever gain mode you have selected last, either blue or red. So you can switch between clean and red, but you have to make sure the gain mode is set to red before the song starts.
