Raggedy mids equals DC3 for me... That's exactly the tone I miss from the DC3 combo I just sold... Couldn't justify having that and the MV25 around, or so I thought! The gain just had this nice grainy-grittiness to it that was much less polite than the Mark V:25

How much bass were you running to get your cleans? The fat mode has a lot more bass and if you're dialing in more on the bass dial or EQ, that is probably killing your headroom?!?
