For Sale: Mark V head with footswitch and cover

Don't want to do it but have some other obligations that need to be met. Selling the best amp I ever played sucks. Would rather sell it to a another on the board than Craigslist or Ebay. It is flawless and in fantastic condition. Sorry my pics are not great. $1799, will work out shipping...

Help. Need to trouble shoot my Mark V

Will double check but it might be the OD. Very odd, this happened out of the blue.

Help. Need to trouble shoot my Mark V

I have a Fulltone OD (Mosfet) that I run with my Mark V. Crazy but my sound goes away when my OD is not activated (don't use it at all on channel 1) , can barely hear it on channel 3 (have to turn it up). When it is activated it sounds just as it always has, great. Can someone give me a hand...

Begun to bond with Extreme mode...

...it is tighter than the IV but still has a wider frequency and is more forgiving than the IIC+. You can crank the gain without developing a lot of flub. Think I just did not give it a chance early because of it's name. Mesa should have called it Mark V mode I think. Think I am getting a...

Extreme vs. IV mode, besides volume boost what.....

Maybe so, I just do not hear the difference. Extreme just sounds like a loud IV mode..oh well, I guess my ears suck.

Extreme vs. IV mode, besides volume boost what.....

...is the difference? I swear I have been experimenting with the two and they sound identical except for the volume jump on extreme mode. Of course, I have read the manual but do my ears absolutely suck? What am I missing? The IIC+ mode vs the IV is easy to tell the difference. :?:

Eric Johnson type tone in channel 2?

Herein lies the conundrum. Channel 3 is my choice for higher gain stuff. I want to be able to switch to channel 2 seamlessly without adjusting or turning off the GEQ and of course since I want channel 2 to fit somewhere in between 1 and 3 sonically then I am not going to be jacking the gain...

Eric Johnson type tone in channel 2?

I know the V is not a Plexi but that is what I am looking for in channel 2. Can anyone give me some pointers? I believe I have nailed what I want in channel 1 and 3. Of course, I want channel 2 to function as the bridge between the two...a smooth overdriven sound is what I am looking for in 2.

I am discovering that there is some magic in Mark I mode

....wow, very sweet tones. Gotta crank the presence a bit, no bass, and of course tweak the sliders a bit, cannot go with the standard V IMO. This amp just gets better.

The Eagle er I mean the V has landed....

It is fantastic. I had already read enough to know what direction I want to go for settings. I am in love with IIC+ mode on channel 3. All of the original IIC+'s were wired in triode so I always make that switch when in this mode. It is super tight and articulate. I have been very happy...
