    I'm putting my Mesa Mark III red stripe up for sale. It is the rack mounted version.It has mesa tubes in the preamp and mesa's for the power. The power tubes have less than 15 hours on them.     Mark III problems

    I have a red stripe Mark III that is "static-y" when I let chords ring out. I have replaced all of the tubes, cleaned the tube sockets, input jacks, and all of the pots and I'm still having the same problem. Does anybody have any suggestions as to what to do next?

    Mark Iv Buzzing You Get With Gain

    My Mark IV would squeal all the time and I never figured it out so I got rid of it. My Mark III doesn't have that problem. I can run the gain high and the feedback is controllable.

    Mark III Settings

    I think so. I noticed in the Mark III's manual that Mesa recommended the presence be set on 10 for the metal setting. I tried it for the heck of it and holy crap is that bright. I'm with you, I like it low.
