Curious, Im going for a rack again and I am just looking at my options.. Mark III is one of them. What is the weight of a Mark III rackmount component?

so no 100 watt amps is there? except the Mark IV, which is twice the price of a DC-5/Mark III/etc =[ Headroom has me worried, I love my cleans. since I play alot of jazz, its kind of important.

So.. Looking at the manual, it has a 8 Ohm jack, and two 4 ohm jacks. Now, assuming this is a head, if you had two cabs (both 8 ohm loads), would you split cable them and put them in a 4 ohm jack? Can you use a cab with 8 ohm, and a cab with 4 ohm, one speaker cable straight to two inputs...

Still considering the DC-5, although this past week ive been really curious on getting another rack unfortunately.. The Studio Pre sounds like it is basically a carbon copy of the IIC+ in a preamp, and the Triaxis is just like everything.. But I still want to keep my combo amp I have right...

I have a Carvin XV112 that I had modified abit, tolex wise and stuff.. so altho I kinda dig it, I may try getting a mesa.. from the measurements I THINK any medium sized amp would fit into this custom cab, just replacing the carvin. Width wise, its perfect, its height and depth that may be abit...

Quad-X apparently doesnt have the V3-like rhythm channel, and Rhythm channel is the main reason I am not happy with my current amp. I dont even know if a Mark I-III would even do it, sure a Mark IV would but it is quite out of my budget (as is the early Marks, besides the III) V3 is too huge...

how? Im saying I like 100watters, but if I chose to get a medium sized mesa thats under like $1k, Im stuck with only 50 watters (DC5, .50 caliber) Will 50 be enough? Anyone play BIG shows (ie non stadium, but ~1000-5000 people) with 50 watt amps?

Im considering replacing the amp I have in a cab with one, I think a Mesa medium head might fit.. But what models of Mesa amps have a Medium sized chassis? I know of the Mark IV, but they are abit pricy even used.. I was loving the price range of Mark III's but I believe they don't have medium...

Im curious, whats the Inner dimensions of the Medium sized chassis'? So hard to find on here.. I know the full width is 22-½ inchs, but when you take away the cabinet wood sides, how much is left (I think my amp I want to put it in possibly has about 20 7/8" roughly, maybe able to squeeze 21"...
