i don't there's any point in modifying the tone circuit to any amp.if you don't like it sell it and buy smth else.even if the eq works perfectly,the amp has lots of midrange as someone told before.i think you should tweak it a little more,if yours has the eq ,and if you don't get any result with...

i kinda have the same issue with my volume knob for a mesa 22+.since i'm not in the USA-therefore is not the case to call mesa directly,would you think that a regular fender volume knob will do the trick?thx

well yes,mine is class A.should it be rebiased? and one last question,you've been very helpful: will it help the my clean channel to break up LATER if i change the mesa 12ax7 in v2 (in the manual v2 is supposed to be assigned to the clean channel) with a lower gain tube?thx
