what do you mean by pre 500? I would get the rackmount for the fact that I wouldn't have to carry around 2 heads, I can just include it in my rackcase with my G-Major.

I have never heard of rev F ,G, etc... what does that mean and how do you know which one you have? Also, does the single rec sound better than the dual. I have read that they don't have the buzz and fizz of the dual rec, but just as much punch. Do you know anything about these?

Are speaker cables the same as un-shielded cables? I saw in the 2:90 manual to use un-shielded cables to connect the deep, modern, and half to the triaxis. What is the purpose for this? Would you recommend using angled or straight ends? Thanks
